What every board and train includes

  • Your dog boards with one of our professional trainers for the whole program.
  • A one-on-one session at pickup: about 1.5 hours for one week, and 2 hours for the two-week and three-week programs.
  • An e-collar is included in the 1 Week Freedom and both 2 Week programs.
  • A lifetime refresher with the 1 Week Freedom and both 2 Week programs.

Frequently misunderstood facts

  • Board and train and private lessons are different. In board and train, your dog stays and trains with our trainer. In private lessons, you and your dog train together with a trainer.
  • The two 2-week programs are not the same. Community K9 trains around everyday, mid-level distractions and includes off-leash heel and down from a distance. Urban K9 trains around the busiest distractions and includes on-leash heel, without down from a distance. Both are $3,000.
  • Aggression has its own programs. The 3 Week Board and Train (Aggression) and the 8-lesson Aggressive Dog Training are built for aggressive or reactive dogs. Nobody can promise a complete fix for dog or people aggression; we give you control and help you manage it.
  • Listed prices are the e-check price. Paying by card or any method other than e-check (ACH) adds 3.99% to the listed price.
  • E-collar training starts at five months. Younger puppies start with the Puppy Training Consultation.
  • There is no storefront to visit. We serve customers across the St. Louis area. Call to set up where your training happens.
  • Packages are paid before lessons are scheduled. Once a package is paid, we send you the link to our calendar to book your appointments.

What Off Leash K9 Training St. Louis is not

  • Not a quick fix. Programs run from four private lessons to three weeks of board and train, followed by practice at home.
  • Not a shock-based method. The e-collar is a communication tool used like a tap on the shoulder, never as punishment.
  • Not the same business as other Off Leash K9 Training locations. This page covers the St. Louis location only. Other Off Leash K9 Training locations in Missouri are separate businesses.
